Shelby recently got word that one of her original songs that she wrote and composed is being looked at by Janet Jackson who is interested in possibly putting it on her album scheduled to be released this fall. Aside from that Shelby is busy composing new songs, singing events and trying to get the word out about her music. Shelby was recently taped on a segment for the Pittsburgh show called “Champions Live” sponsored by TV stations WBGN and UPN in Pittsburgh. There were two tapings of the show of which she sang the National Anthem to open the show.

The first show is slated for Friday May 5th WBGN TV 7:30, and Saturday May 6th UPN 11:00 PM in Pittsburgh.
The second show is to air Friday May 12th WBGN TV 7:30 PM and Saturday May 13th UPN TV 11:00 PM will feature her singing a world premiere of her new song “Nothing’s Perfect” ending the show.
